Wilson Pickett's time recording at American Sound Studio in Memphis produced a second album to follow I'm In Love, again produced by Tom Dowd. The title track of The Midnight Mover was another song from Bobby Womack, who was then working at American Sound as a session guitarist and songwriter. Released as a single, it gave Picket yet another Top 10 R&B hit (#6), and also made it to #24 on the pop chart. A second single, "I Found A True Love", was a #11 R&B hit. The album itself was a great collection of sweaty soul grooves, and concluded Pickett's brief stay at American Sound.

Aw, this was an incredibly nice post. Spending some time
and actual effort to generate a top notch article… but what can I
say… I hesitate a lot and never manage to get nearly anything done.
